Meet Founder & CEO

Kristy Lowther (they/them), CDE®, MSW is a queer, nonbinary, white, visibly able-bodied Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) expert. Mx. Lowther is a thought leader in LGBTQIA+ workplace equity and inclusion who recognizes the importance of creating spaces that intentionally center marginalized voices. They are passionate about helping people show up authentically and are dedicated to empowering individuals through education, coaching, and transformational experiences. Utilizing an authentic teaching style that mixes storytelling and skilled facilitation, Mx. Lowther engages audiences in ways that elicit empathy while also advancing their knowledge.

Known for their collaborative approach and ability to inspire meaningful impact, Mx. Lowther has an innate ability to connect with people at all levels and help them feel comfortable. Their thirst to improve their knowledge about human behavior led them back to school at Georgetown University, where they attained Executive Certifications in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership. Mx. Lowther regularly guest lectures for Georgetown’s School for Continuing Studies on the continuum of gender identity.

Mx. Lowther holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in sexuality and gender studies, and a Master’s in Social Work, all from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They are also a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE®).
